Why this exists
Most online information about Golden Visas is published by the people selling them — law firms, fund managers, real estate developers, and "consultants" earning commissions on the back end. The result is a market where the easiest information to find is the most biased.
Golden Visa Insider is the opposite: we don't sell visas, we don't take referral fees, and we don't accept sponsored placements. We just publish what we find when we read the actual statutes, regulator publications, and government press releases.
How we research
- Every cost, timeline and eligibility claim is tied to a specific statute or regulator publication.
- Country pages are reviewed every quarter. The "Updated" date is real.
- When a program changes mid-cycle (Spain 2025, Portugal 2023, Greece 2024), we update within 30 days.
- FAQs come from actual reader questions, not keyword research.
